Goku vs. Jackie Chun (Master Kame)
During the 21st martial arts tournament, Goku faces Jackie Chun, who is actually masked Master Kame. After an intense struggle, Jackie Chun will draw the advantage, but Goku sees the full moon and turns into Oozaru.
To prevent the threat, Jackie Chun destroys the moon with a Kamehameha. The battle remains balanced until both falling at the same time. On the tiebreaker, Jackie Chun manages to get up first and the champion is declared.
Goku vs. Tenshinhan
At the 22nd martial arts tournament, Goku’s defeat is similar to the one he suffered against Jackie Chun. In a ferocious battle against Tenshinhan, Goku shows great skill, but ends up being defeated by a small margin.
