Emmy winning series continues after season ending
THE Apple TV+ officially announced the renewal of TED Lasso for the fourth season, with Jason Sudeikis confirmed to return to the role of the charismatic coach.
“As we continue to live in a world where many factors conditioned us to ‘look before jumping’, in season fourth AFC Richmond characters will learn to jumpfinding that, wherever they land, it is exactly where they should be, “he said Sudeikis in a statement (via Variety).
Channing dungeyCEO of Warner Bros. Television Group, celebrated the return of the series:
“If there is a program that the world needs more now, it is TED Lasso. Along with numerous fans around the world, we were cheering for another season and now we can finally say, ‘Yes, it will happen!’
Launched in 2020, TED Lasso Quickly conquered the public and criticism, especially in a period marked by the Covid-19 pandemic. The third season, aired in 2023, was treated as an outcome to the story, showing AFC Richmond rising in the Premier League and Ted Lasso returning to Kansas to be with his son.
Despite this, fans continued to ask for more episodes, and the creators and actors gave ambiguous answers about the possibility of continuation. Now, the renewal confirms the return of the series that has already received 61 nominations to Emmyand took 13 statuettes, including Best comedy series.

There is no premiere yet for the new season.
