Brazil collection with Royalties oil should grow by 9.7% between 2025 and 2029, says ANP

The entrances of Brazil with the Royalties of the oil industry and the gas will increase 9.7% between 2025 and 2029, while the collection of special apparitions, which focus only on fields with great volume of production or great profitability, will retire in the period.

Brazil is expected to collect about 74.6 billion dollars of oil royalties and gas in 2029, against approximately R $ 68 estimated for this year, the data of the National Oil, Natural Gas and Biocarbuger Agency (ANP) Thursday.

Royalties are financial compensions paid monthly by companies that produce oil and gas in the Brazilian territory and focus on the value of production on the field.

The estimate for 2029 takes into account a Brent at $ 66.50 and the dollar at $ 5.92 of that year, according to the information published on the regulator website.

For the estimate of 2025, Anp considers Brent to $ 74.52 and the OM exchange of $ 5.93 per dollar.

In the estimated period, however, Anp reported that 2028 will be the year with the highest collection of oil and gas royalties, for a total of about 75.8 billion dollars.

Already the collection of special participation – which are financial compensation paid quarterly by companies only in fields with a large volume of production or great profitability – should add about 25 billion dollars in 2029, a drop of 22.8% compared to 2025 (R $ 32.4 BI).
