A new deleted scene from the fourth season of “Cobra Kai” has been released by Sony, focusing on Daniel LaRusso and his students.
The unreleased video shows Daniel, played by Ralph Macchio, preparing his Miyagi-Do students to create a simulated version of the dojo for the next All-Valley karate tournament. He plays the noise of the crowd in the background and argues with his pupils Demetri, played by Gianni DeCenzo, Chris, played by Khalil Everage, and others who have never competed in front of the public.
When they fail to defeat the sensei, the scene ends with Miyagi-Do students coming to believe that the karate taught by Daniel LaRusso will not be enough to win against the best in the Valley.

The fourth season of “Cobra Kai” brought the climax of the rivalry between Daniel’s Miyagi-Do and the Eagle Fang dojo, created by Johnny Lawrence, played by William Zabka. After three seasons of rivalry between the two dojos, they team up to face the new Cobra Kai, led by John Kreese (Martin Kove) and Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith).
“Cobra Kai” continues the story of Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence 30 years after the events of the “Karate Kid” movies. The series is hugely popular and its first season was posted on YouTube, reaching 100% approval on Rotten Tomatoes.
After not being renewed by YouTube beyond its third season, Netflix acquired the rights to the series in 2020 and became the most viewed on the platform. The third season was released in January 2021, and the fourth season made the series the most viewed series globally.
“Cobra Kai” will also have a fifth season, production of which has been completed even before the release of the fourth season, and is expected to arrive on Netflix in September. It will follow the events of the fourth season after Cobra Kai’s controversial victory in the All-Valley Tournament, with Silver taking full control of the dojo following Kreese’s betrayal.
Meanwhile, Daniel forms an alliance with another rival from the past, the Chozen (Yuji Okumoto) from “Karate Kid 2 – The Moment of Truth Continues” to face Silver. Meanwhile, Johnny goes in search of Eagle Fang’s best student, Miguel (Xolo Maridueña), who has escaped in search of his biological father.
The first four seasons of “Cobra Kai” are available on Netflix, while the fifth is scheduled for September 9th.
