The consortium gets the agro force between high interest rates

Even with record production in 2025, the sector has to face financial challenges and looks for more strategic solutions to invest

Despite the forecasts for the growth of agricultural production in 2025, the maintenance of interest rates at high levels has imposed challenges for the financial planning of farmers throughout the country. With this scenario, alternatives such as the Consortium have gained space as a way to allow the acquisition of machinery and equipment in the sector.

According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the harvest of cereals, legumes and oil seeds this year is designed in 322.6 million tonsa growth of 10.2% compared to 2024. The record production, however, does not find a totally favorable macroeconomic scenario.

In this context, the Consortium emerges as an alternative to the manufacturer who must invest without compromising its cash flow. According to the data of the Brazilian Association of Consortium Directors (ABAC), A third of the consortia of heavy vehicles are intended for agricultural machinery and tools. The entity also projects greater growth than 10% In this segment in 2025.

For TĂșlio Diniz, commercial director of the BP Consortium, the current moment requires more strategic solutions. “The Consortium has shown that it is an effective tool for the manufacturer who wishes to expand its production capacity in a planned way. The model allows investments in technology and mechanization without the need for immediate funding or high interest rates,” he explains.

THE Bp consortiumWith national performance and attention to agro -industry, it aims to expand its presence in the sector with new digital solutions and strategic partnerships. “We are betting on the digitization of processes, strengthening partnerships with agricultural suppliers and actions aimed at sustainability in the production chain,” says Diniz.

In addition to being manager of the sector, the singer Gusttavo Lima also includes the company’s company council, trying to contribute to her experience as a rural investor. In 2020, he was appointed “agri -food agro ambassador” during an event held in Mato Grosso and since then he has been directly worked on projects relating to innovation and technology in the countryside.

The expectation, according to Diniz, is that the scenario remains demanding, but also promising for those who can plan. “Efficiency and technology are the ways to sustainability and agri -food growth. The consortium is part of this long -term planning,” he concludes.
