‘The Paper House’: These are the numbers of a global phenomenon

‘La Casa de Papel’ came to an end last December after long years collecting successes around the world from Netflix. The end may not have convinced everyone equally, but the success, rather, but the triumph of the series is evident. The production effort of this Spanish fiction, created by Alex Pina and produced by Vancouver Media, has been huge. Throughout these years, more than 1,000 people have worked on this franchise, it has been shot in 300 locations in 7 countries. It has been produced a total of 600 red monkeys140,000,000 bills have been thrown into the air and almost 1,000 million euros have been “stolen”.

Vancouver Media is a fiction series production company founded at the end of 2016 by Álex Pina with the aim of creating clearly differentiating proposals. Since its start-up, it has developed ‘The paper house, ‘El pier’, ‘White Lines’ and more recently ‘Sky Rojo’.

Now the series is preparing a spin-off focused on the figure of Berlin, who will star Peter Alonso. The actor who “abandoned” the cast of the series in the first season and since then has made sporadic appearances in the form of memories of the past, spoke about this new project during an event held at the Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid to bid farewell to ‘La casa de paper’ with the fans. Alonso showed his enthusiasm, and this character has changed his career completely. Also, although later, given the facts, he has followed a different path than the rest of the gang in the series, he is the favorite of many of the fans.
