Female entrepreneurship has advanced in recent years in Brazil. Juliana Masello, 34

Geiza Loureiro Maia from Silva, 58 years old

I learned to have empathy, patience, active listening and resilience that I take to my role as a leader. I also learned to manage unexpected events and make decisions with more sensitivity and firmness, always thinking about the wefare of those who are with me”.
Juliana Freitas, 48 years old

After more than 15 years as a bank manager in San Paolo, he decided to change his life becoming a mother in 2012. Silmara has always been motivated by the passion in teaching and enterprise. For decades, he commanded schools and made a solid career in the education sector. Married 30 years ago and mother of two children, Gabriel, 28 years old and Giulia, 22 years old, decided that it was time to follow new paths. The change began with a common desire between her and her daughter: to take together, but in a new segment.
In June 2023, they purchased the first Market4U unit, a network of autonomous markets.
