The beloved 2000s sitcom “Everybody Hates Chris” is getting an animated version for Paramount +.

The reboot of “Everybody Hates Chris” has been in development at CBS Studios alongside Chris Rock for nearly a year and a half, according to Deadline, but has now been given the green light to take off. Rock attracted worldwide media attention when he was slapped by actor Will Smith at the 2022 Oscars ceremony.
The original “Everybody Hates Chris” premiered in 2005 and aired for a total of four seasons, one on UPN and three more on The CW. Animated reboot doesn’t have a release date yet.
