The President of the United States Donald Trump said on Friday that Iran has a proposal by his government and knows that he has to act quickly, one day after saying that Washington and Tehran were close to a nuclear agreement.
“They have an even more important proposal, they know that they have to act quickly or something bad – something bad will happen,” Trump said to journalists aboard the Air Force One after the United Arab Emirates, according to an audio recording of the comments.
An Iranian source close to the negotiation team said that Tehran has not received the United States proposal, “but Oman received it and will soon deliver it to Tehran”.
