Baratão Fuels, a company based in Brasilia (DF), has launched a digital platform to connect drivers to affordable gas at affordable prices. The company has already exceeded the mark of one million downloads, with an average of 50,000 daily sales.
The initiative arrives in a context in which the price of fuel affects the budget of families and professional drivers. On average, this expense compromises 6.4% of the monthly income of the Brazilians, according to the fuel purchase power indicator, calculated by the Foundation Institute for Economic Research (FIPE).
The survey is based on the fuel price monitor and the continuous PNAD of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) and shows a challenge for family budgets throughout the country, as publication of a publication highlights Commercial diary.

According to Fiorillo, the process to obtain the fuel discount in the app is 100%functional and digital: the user acquires fuel via the app (petrol, ethanol or diesel), receives a QR code on the mobile phone, presents the code in the accredited post and the discount is applied automatically.
“The proposal of our system is to eliminate the bureaucracies,” says Fiorillo. In addition to fuel, Baratão Fuels has expanded its ecosystem to include other products and discount services, such as cooking gas, mineral water, car products (oil, additives, pneumatic), vehicle services (washing, plating, survey) and pet items.
“Our goal is to offer comfort and economy in everything that is related to the driver’s routine,” says the businessman.
Advantage Club offers exclusive advantages
Users of the Baratão Fuel app also have access to the Baratão Advantage Club, which offers discounts on food, clothing, pharmacies, education and e-commerce.
“There are more than 25,000 partner stores to offer savings in various categories,” says Fiorillo.
Growth and expansion
Currently, Baratão Fuels already has more than two million users and two thousand posts credited throughout Brazil.
According to Fiorillo, to further expand, the company has invested in artificial technology and intelligence (AI) to identify better opportunities for partnership and regional expansion with commercial teams active in new markets.
Expectations for the future
According to the CMO of Baratão Fuels, among the plans for the future, the company intends to invest in improving AI experience for the customization and consumption forecasts. In addition, it plans to invest in the inclusion of charging for electric vehicles and new loyalty models.
“Our commitment is to continue to innovate to transform fuel consumption into Brazil, putting the power of choice and economy in the hands of users,” concludes Fiorillo.
