Fiesp: “either we understand each other on tax adaptation or sinks together”

After underlining divergent interests between executive, legislature and judiciary, the entity stresses that the country will sank if everyone does not sit at the table “as adults” in search of understanding

THE Federation of the industries of the State of Saint Paul (Fiesp) Thursday 12, a note with a strong tone of criticism of the lack of consent between the powers around the measures necessary for the tax balance.

After underlining divergent interests between executive, legislature and judiciary, the entity stresses that the country will sank if everyone does not sit at the “adult” table in search of an understanding.

Signed by the President of Fiesp, Josué Gomes da SilvaThe official note begins with the observation that, although there is a consensus in society that the tax adaptation is urgent, the lack of convergence on how to do it. The reason, holds Fiesp, is that “nobody wants to give up their part, its benefits, its advantages”.

“The problem is always the neighbor. But everyone has its responsibility,” says the entity that represents the industry of San Paolo. In criticism of the executive’s performance, which does not give up their programs and therefore must collect a large Fiesp says that the government launches punctual tax measures, without dialogue with the company and without structuring them in a national plan.

The legislator continues to Fiesp, criticizes the proposals of the government, already anticipating electoral positions, without offering alternatives and pretending not to be one of the great responsible for the imbalance of public accounts.

The entity recalls that the parliamentary amendments, which have reached the “exorbitant” value of about $ 50 billion, represent 25% of the discretionary expenditure.

The judiciary, on the other hand, evaluates Fiesp, does not give up its pecuniary advantages that lead to a remuneration greater than the constitutional wage roof.

According to the entity, the production sectors try to survive through sectoral exemptions and subsidies that are often administered in justifiable times. However, they end up perpetuating themselves indefinitely.

Consequently, these advantages for the production sector affect not only with public finances, but also economic efficiency.

Fiesp also criticizes the financial sector, which, assesses, charges the tax balance, but “amplifies the crisis, often benefiting from this instability and profit from volatility caused by chaos on the market”.

“That is, we or sit as adults at a table – manager, legislative, magistarium, entrepreneurs of the production and financial sectors, of the workers and representatives of civil society – looking for understanding for the construction of a project for the nation, or we will sink all together”, accuses the entity.
