Warner Bros. Discovery has announced Tuesday that it will use artificial intelligence to select prominent extracts from series and films of the Max catalog (which will soon be renamed HBO Max). These extracts will be used in previews.

Max will use IA to select standard extracts and movies
Max will use an AI tool to identify “prominent” scenes in series or films. Then it will display these extracts as a previous one when a user passes through the catalog.
According to Avi Saxena, director of Warner Bros. Discovery technology, in a press release, the intention is to reduce the time necessary to manually select the previews.
This technology based on artificial intelligence will allow us to identify the moments of drop-in in the vast catalog of maximum content and significantly reduce the manual time required to select the previews
