Organized 15 years ago by producer Bonfilm, with the support of the French Embassy, the French Alliances and Unifrance, the event continues with the same proposal to offer the Brazilian public the best and latest French productions and create opportunities for meetings between artists and professionals from both countries.

With over 2 million viewers since its inception, and the only national festival held simultaneously in theaters of largest and smaller cities from north to south of the country, the French Film Festival of Brazil It has a date on 2025: from November 27 to December 10th. As part of France’s year’s program in Brazil, the event is already in the production phase and promises a rich and diverse program to satisfy lovers of French cinematography.
The festival follows with the support of Varilux – brand of the ESSILORLUXOTTICA Group – as “Master Sponsor present”. It will also feature the Banp Paribas Bank sponsorship, which first enters 2025, the Pernod Ricard group, Voltaia and Air France, as well as the Ministry of Culture – through the Rouanet Law, and the City Hall of Rio de Janeiro, Municipal Secretariat of Culture.
