Lula said he should go to Camaçari in August for the actual inauguration of the Byd factory. He said that Ford De Camaçari’s departure left an “emptiness”, but that Chinese society “gives life to Bahia’s industrial development” with the new factory.
“What brings a sector to a country is the market. If the industry does not see the possibility of consuming the product it produces, it does not arrive in the country. The Chinese company has launched operations at the Camaçari (BA) factory this week. The perspective is that until 2030, 80% of the components used for the production of vehicles are national.
