A More Beautiful Life : Rochat, outraged by Caesar’s death

In October last year, Cesar (Grant Lawrence) was discovered dead, much to the dismay of Plus belle la vie fans. A young man, madly in love with Emma (Pauline Bression), plays with fire and blackmails Jacob Baptiste (Brian Tresor), her boyfriend, into murder.

Unfortunately, his plan backfired and Jacob threatened the young man that he would attack his relatives if he informed the police. Caesar then made the decision to abandon Jacob and agreed to die in their defense. However, the killer gave him time to say goodbye to his friends and uncle.

She tells him that Caesar had feelings for her. “He was modest, but it showed a lot… He loved you passionately.” Rochat then explains to her how guilty he feels for not worrying sooner about not hearing from his nephew. Emma comforts him by replying that it wouldn’t have changed anything, she couldn’t have saved Caesar.
