I called my brother who lives [sic] Arizona on a farm and said, ‘From these people. It’s not worth it. It’s not worth it anymore. That was all. When Joy said on the air when I got back from maternity leave, ‘Nobody missed you. I didn’t feel supported when I had my baby and I didn’t feel supported when I got back. And this is all.
This is actually a publicly documented experience. When Meghan McCain returned from maternity leave Visualization, she and Joy Behar got into a fight during a high-profile episode at the time. During the conversation, which revealed whether or not there should be more than two political parties, Meghan McCain joked: “You missed me so much, Joy.” Behar then expressionless:

During the past year, Visualization continued to maintain a conservative stance on the host panel. Until recently, however, no replacement for Meghan McCain had been announced. Instead, the show really started pushing for a perm. Visualization replacement earlier last month, with Elisabeth Hasselbeck getting the gig after being fired from the show. During her first episode this week, abortion and other hot topics were discussed.
For her part, Meghan McCain was open about how she felt like she was working in a toxic space and struggled to be “produced” by someone who didn’t understand her beliefs.
