Diane Dassigny: I heard the news in two stages. Yakak told me for the first time that he was leaving the series, but at the time we didn’t know what the writers were allowed.

We have imagined a lot of things compared to his departure, but we didn’t imagine it would be very emotional. We both knew very much by studying Samuel’s death, but also very happy because they trust us emotionally by writing such a beautiful arch.

This is not necessary what characterizes the Samuel/Jennifer duo, which is a very “funny” duo. Even if they had difficult moments, it was never so dramatic. He was convinced that he had learned that he would die suddenly, we realized that we would never go together.

Tuesday episode scenes are also emotional for your character. I could imagine it was not easy to turn around? Where are we going to draw these feelings?

This is part of the job. But I have to admit that I was happy to go to this registry. Plus Belle La Vie I went with a funny and light character, and I didn’t think the writers would have followed me so far in my emotions.

I was happy because what is interesting as an actor, exactly to be able to move from one registry to another. This is a great luck that we have with daily soap operations.

We can go to places where it is not expected. I’m a blonde, I’m talking fast, I’m very funny, so I often imagine starring like Jennifer at the beginning of the series. And it is very good to be able to go to another registry suddenly.

In the end, Samuel died without them, he could really reconcile. They simply exchange the phone call by fulfilling the promise. Imagine the discovery of the engagement ring was deeply touched by it …

When they are on the phone, their last discussion is quite positive. This is exactly what drama makes it more dramatically. We tell ourselves that they meet and finally this is the life that separates them.

And as often in real life, when a person dies, we find something we don’t know. She is wondering whether this ring is for her and this is really an involvement ring. There are many questions that are raised in the next episodes.

Thanks to Samuel’s phone, he will also go through the footsteps of the mysterious D, which is Deborah and his daughter Rome. How does she react when she learned that she was contacted?

He will obviously get angry. He did not tell him about Deborah and Rome. He tells himself that he does not trust him. So it is always difficult to say that the person we lived from things.

He has the impression that there was a lie that interfered with each other. In the end, he realizes that this lie joins Samuel’s generous and positive side, so it adds a layer of drama.

She tells herself that she was really wonderful because they took care of others and she was benevolent. It is beautiful that Samuel’s character leaves with all his compassion.

She is a mysterious character in gray places, but she had extreme generosity compared to her difficult family. He discovered in Deborah and Rome, which was justified in it.

The return of his psychopathic brother, the random death of Iania (and hiding his body), and now the death of Samuel … Jennifer has undergone many tests last year. After all will have a little vacation?

I still hope (Laugh). Once again, the writers told me nothing, so I don’t know.

What can you look at Jennifer’s evolution of Plus Belle La Vie, even more beautiful, a year and a half ago?

I went to the series with a very solar character, especially in comedy. Then there was a meeting with Samuel, which was more in the Romantic Comedy Register.

And I was very happy because it is a genre that I love and that we see a little in French fantasy. And then a little bit, we went to much dramatic things, which climbed with Samuel’s death. I am very happy that I could study all of this with Jennifer’s character who is very empathetic. This is very stimulating.

Do you have any project you want to talk about?

I work a lot in the field of duplication and now I do a lot of things, but I can’t talk about it. But this is a very beautiful thing, including a feature film.

I also sing a song. I had a pause when I had my two children, but they resumed. I have done a lot of musicals and concerts with my own songs, so at the moment I go back to everything. Hope I will soon do concerts with my group.

Then on July 19, I will do a concert in Charente-Maritime as a TV actors, with a concert, Jerim Charvet, plus Bell La Visa and tomorrow’s Juliet Mabilat. But this is mainly a cover.

In terms of fiction, I will be on a television film on a never-ending Christmas on TF1, along with François-Xavier Demaison, which I had to be transferred in December.
