Spacex has committed to investing $ 2 billion in XAI as part of a 5 billion dollar share round, deepening the links between the billionaire of Elon Musk Technology, while his artificial intelligence startup runs to compete with the rival Openi, said the Wall Street Journal Saturday.
The investment occurs after the merger of XAI with X and evaluates the company combined with $ 113 billion, with Grok Chatbot that now supports Starlink and observes future integration with Tesla’s optimus robots, added the relationship.
In response to a post x on whether Tesla could also invest in XAI, Elon Musk said on Sunday: “It would be great, but subject to approval of the Council and shareholders”, without confirming or denying the diary report on the Spacex investment plans in XAI.
Spacex, Xai and Tesla did not immediately respond to requests for comments. Reuters could not immediately confirm the WSJ report.
Despite the recent disputes involving Grok’s responses, Musk called it “the most intelligent artificial intelligence in the world” and Xai continues to spend a lot for training and model infrastructures.
