Besides sharing opinions of people reacting to bad assessment, Jennifer classified the film as “camp” – Concept discussed by the writer SUSAN SONTAG as something admittedly exaggerated – and shared a gif questioning: “No one has fun anymore, what happened to having fun?“. Check it out:

The news brings back the characters Julie James and Ray Bronsoninterpreted by Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr.. The original story is based on the characters created by Lois Duncan.

What is the story about?

The new story follows five friends who, after causing a fatal car accident, decide to hide it and make a pact of silence. A year later, the characters begin to be chased by someone who knows exactly what they have done and is determined to take revenge. The official synopsis reveals that, as the group is hunted, they discover that these events have happened before and seek help from two survivors of 1997 Southport Massacre – Julie and Ray.
