Striker’s Liverpool advances after retiring in Isak’s negotiation

The club negotiates with Frankfurt and can close the hiring for about 90 million euros (R $ 576 million) in this window

Liverpool has changed his attention on the market after not being able to advance in the negotiations by Alexander Isak in Newcastle. The new target of the English club is the French striker Hugo Ekitiké of Eintracht Frankfurt, who was also seen as an option if Isak left the gaces.

According to the British Press, Ekitiké already would have an agreement with Liverpool, but the two clubs were still missing. Frankfurt has also recently rejected an offer of 80 million euros made by Newcastle himself.

The conversations between Liverpool and Frankfurt, however, are in an advanced phase and soon an agreement can take place. The final value should be around 90 million euros (R $ 576 million). The 23 -year -old striker was hired by the Germans a year ago for 20 million euros ($ 128 million) after a five -month loan from PSG.

In the 2024/25 season, Ekitiké distinguished himself with 22 goals and 12 assists in 48 games, behind only Harry Kane (34), Michael Olise (27) and Omar Mariah (24) in direct goals in the Bundesliga. Mariesh was even her striker partner and was sold in Manchester City for 75 million euros in January.

Meanwhile, Newcastle now aims to take Yoane Wissa from Brentford. The attacker wants to change clubs in this window and is interested in competing for the Champions League. The transfer can cost around 50 million euros (R $ 320 million).
