EPTC releases a large programming to raise awareness of traffic safety and reduce alarming numbers.
Start this Monday (28), in Porto Alegre, a whole week dedicated to the prevention of accidents with motorcyclistspromoted by the public transport and circulation company (EPTC). The action coincides with the celebration of the National Motorcyclists Day, scheduled for this Sunday (27), and is part of the Brazilian traffic code calendar (CTB).
According to the Obsermob report, of the 45 deaths recorded on the roads of the capital in the first half of 2025, 21 involved motorcycles, which represent 47% of traffic deaths. The campaign aims to reduce these numbers through education, supervision and community activities.
Among the planned actions are the Seguro motorcyclist program, online and face -to -face lessons, theatrical scenes and the Zereii project in the ballad, which warns to guide the dangers under the influence of alcohol. The interested parties may require free courses through the EPTC portal.
The initiative is part of the sustainable road safety plan (PSV) and follows the Pnatran, focusing on the reduction of traffic victims through education and collective responsibility. The agenda can be adjusted if the rain.
