Bohort is the king of the country of Gauness, son of Bohor de Gauness, and a member of the Round Table. Over the course of the series, we learn that he is married to a lady named Berlewen (played by Virgin Ephyra) and that she is Lancelot’s cousin, who takes this discovery very badly, wanting to maintain his reputation as a solitary knight errant without attachment. .

Bohort is often seen as a weak man who lacks courage, who is more concerned with the social life of the castle than the successes of arms.
