If you’ve seen Bullet Train, the Brad Pitt blockbuster currently in theaters, then you’ve no doubt noticed the cameos of two famous American actors. The first is Channing Tatum, who plays one of the train passengers in two actual scenes in the film. But there is another, much shorter one, for which there is paradoxically more to be said!
In a flashback at the end of Bullet Train, Ryan Reynolds appears on screen as the killer Carver, a man whom Cockinel (Pitt) replaces for his mission and who we only get a name for throughout the film. A very short cameo, about two seconds flat, that allows Reynolds to find director David Leitch, but also Brad Pitt, after Deadpool 2. Because yes, Brad Pitt did make a cameo in Deadpool 2 and for an equally reduced duration!

For his cameo in Bullet Train, Ryan Reynolds had only one request: to be very short! And David Leitch explains: He told me that it was fine if his appearance had the same longevity as Brad Pitt’s Vanisher character in Deadpool 2. Well done Ryan!
