Aecp-ES and Ancp promote the Congress for Palliative Care of II Capixaba on 20 and 21 August 2025, in Vitória (ES). The event will collect experts to discuss topics such as home care, mourning and humanization of care. With lessons, relationships and contest of poetic prose, the congress strengthens the Holy Spirit as a pole in palliative care.
The State Academy of Palliative Care – Espírito Santo (Aecp -es), in collaboration with the National Academy of Palliative Care (ANCP), will hold the II Capixaba Congress of Palliative Care, on 20 and 21 August 2025, at the University of the Federal of the Espírito Santo (UFE), Goiabeiras Campus (ES).
With the aim of promoting scientific updating, stimulating the exchange of experiences and strengthening professional practices in palliative care, the event will bring together health professionals, managers, researchers and multidisciplinary team members. With this event, the Holy Spirit consolidates itself as a pole of discussion and improvement of palliative care, strengthening multi -professional action and promoting humanization of care in all stages of life.
The program includes round lessons and tables conducted by regional and national experts on topics such as universal access to palliative care; Home care in the termination; Palliative care in primary care; The suffering in mourning and spiritual, psychological, familiar and physical. There will be moments of experience in reference from those who receive palliative assistance and moments of integration between art and science.
The congress will present presentations of scientific articles and reports on experience, encouraging academic production and the dissemination of new practices and a competition in poetic prose, with acting and prizes of the three best contributions, encouraging the artistic expressions in the context of palliative care.
Organization and reference
The Congress will be coordinated by Dr. Antonielen Marciline, a trunk doctor at the University Hospital, a residence of the Medical Clinic at the UFE and the president of Aecp-ES, which highlights the importance of facing palliative care in their physical, psychological, spiritual and social dimensions, including pediatric.
The consultant of the Ministry of Health and the Creator of the Compassiona -Favela program, Alexandre Silva, will also participate as a speaker, bringing national experiences relevant to the debate.

Aimed to professionals who work healthy, managers and students, the congress offers an interdisciplinary environment ideal for discussion and construction of knowledge.
