Even filmmakers who have a very identified pause can surprise and move from their own world. This is the case of David Lynch, who has been accustomed to dark, dreamer and visually important intrigue, surprised in 1999 with a huge biopic that you can (re -) discover now Disney+.
A true huge story signed by one of the greatest filmmakers …
Far away from Eraserhead, Mulholland Drive or Twin Peaks, David Lynch emerged in the late 90’s, a biographical drama inspired by Alvin Bonn, an American who traveled 240 miles (390 kilometers) in Laurens, Blue.
Despite frustrations, this old man has succeeded in finding his brother and his story will be the titles of local newspapers. In 1996, he died of heart disease at the age of 76. The lawn paving, which he used while traveling, was accompanied by his funeral in a cemetery where he was buried.
David Lynch’s true story tells the story of Alvin Street’s incredible and true story, who decides to make a long journey to decorate his lawn, as he has been deprived of his driving license to connect with his sick brother Lile.
… Wearing a disturbing actress
John E. The script of Rocha and Mary Swan, former -Parker and David Lynch’s employee, completely broke the director who seized the story.
The true story is performed by actor and stentman Richard Farnsworth, known for his participation in the West, with his collaboration with Clint Eastwood or his appearance in the small house of the Prerry.
At the age of 79, he portrayed Alvin directly in the true story when he was ill. Actress David Lynch’s film gives a masterful, authentic and huge performance, which has brought her an Oscar nomination for the best actress.
After the film, Richard Farnsworth, in his ranch, commits suicide at the terminal stadium with a cancer diagnosis. The real story was his latest feature film.
David Lynch’s film, which seems to be the director’s side, who left us at the beginning of 2025, looked at the Cannes Festival and received a complimentary criticism.
Contrary to all resistance, these are pictures of Walt Disney who acquire the rights to distribute the true story that enjoys the exit of cinema in the United States, but in France. Incredible, but although David Lynch, his filmography has a “Disney film”, which is certainly the most affordable mode.
The film “Real Story” is available in Disney+.
