Between hits such as Titanic, Wall Street wolf and the origin, Oscar’s winning actor The Return revealed what his favorite work is to review
Leonardo DiCaprio (The return) has experienced iconic characters in some of Hollywood’s largest productions. At 50, his filmography includes classics like Titanic, Secure me if you are able to, Blood diamond, The origin and the Oscar won by The return. But contrary to what many could suppose, the movie he resets most is none of these.
In an interview with Dwellconducted by the director Paul Thomas Anderson (Black blood), Dicaprio explained why The Aviator (2004), Howard Hughes’s biography directed by Martin Scorsese (The good companions) occupies this special place: “I rarely see my movies, but if I’m honest, what I watched most was the aviator. It was a very special moment for me”he said.
In the feature, Dicaprio He plays the tycoon and pilot Howard Hughes, in a performance that earned him an Oscar nomination. More than a striking role, the film meant a turn in his career.
“I’ve been carrying a book about Howard Hughes ten years ago. I almost did it with Michael Mann, but ended up going to Marty. It was the first time I was part of the production, not just an actor hired. I had a different responsibility, a real collaborator.”he explained.
