With seven films released, two crossovers and now a series, the timeline may seem confusing to those who want to watch the productions in the order of events, not just for the launch order.

For longtime fans, this is a new way to revisit the story; For beginners, it is a way to plunge more linearly into one of the scariest and fascinating universes of science fiction. Next, we organized the films in the chronological order of history. Check it out:

And the crossovers with the franchise Predator?

In addition to the main line, the franchise also has two crossovers that unite the xenomorphs with predators:

  • Alien vs. Predator(2004) – Year 2004 (History occurs in Antarctica in the present, outside the main timeline).

  • Alien vs. PREDATOR 2 (2007) – Year 2004-2005 (continues shortly after the previous one in a small US town).

However, it is worth mentioning that these two films are not considered an official part of the main canon of the Alien franchise.
