What is it about?

The main reason for the revolt was the tone of the video: full of erotic, seductive and spicy scenes, something that does not exist in the original book. The classic novel, published in 1847, portrays an intense, violent and abusive relationship, marked by obsession and tragedy, not by sensual eroticism shown in the preview.

The criticism, however, did not start now. Since the lineup of Elderi Like Heathcliff, many questioned the choice. In the book, the character is described as an orphan of Gypsy origin, marked by prejudice and social exclusion – characteristics that are not reflected in the profile of the Australian actor. Another point raised was the characterization of Margot Robbie Like Catherine Earnshaw: blonde and glamorous, far from the original description of the character, who is not blonde.
