Executive of the festival held in São Paulo comments on changes made in the structure of the event, which was the target of some criticism
The arrangement of the stages of the The Town It was back to criticism. The festival was held in São Paulo in the last two weekends and had attractions such as Green Day, BACKSTREET BOYS and Mariah Careyamong others.
In 2023 Skyline and The One were very closeto the point of generating disorder in the displacement of fans. Now The biggest complaint was that they were distant even too.
Roberta Medinaone of the executives responsible for the event, talked about it to the G1 in answering a fan question.
See what she said:
“The two stages are far from purpose. This is a part with which we are very happy. It is really tiring (the displacement), because the race track is huge, but also because it has many attractions.”
Medina added:
“We warded it because it helped us have a better quality of service that, again (2023), when the two stages were close, there was no way to serve 100,000 people. In the bathrooms, in bars. Everyone in the same place does not work. We saw in the first edition. So we walked away and expanded the time between shows so that the guys could see everything.”
The Town and the Stage
In 2025, Skyline, The Town’s main stage, remained positioned in the same place, while The One was relocated to another, farther place. In it, they played artists like Iggy Pop, LAURYN HILL and Ludmilla.
Another novelty in the structure of the festival was the creation of the Quebrada stage, which received national rap and hip hop artists, as well as rhyme and dance battles.
