The Brazilian football confederation (CBF) published the competition calendar on Tuesday (1) in 2026 and new formats, which benefited from the Amazonian clubs in national competitions next year.

The changes made that the state had in 2026, three Amazonian clubs in the Brazilian cup: Amazonas, Manaus and National. Thanks to the expansion of the clubs for the tournament, from 92 to 126 teams.

In addition to the national competition, there has also been the Serie D expansion, which will go from 64 to 96 clubs in 2026, and we have already confirmed Manauara’s place.

For the confederation of Amazonian football, the changes ensure a longer calendar, greater visibility of Amazon football in the Brazilian scenario and new opportunities for the cast and the technical committee to show their national work. – The great reformulation of the Brazilian football calendar has come out and northern football has received this news with great joy.
