Emilia Clarke, who made her first foray into Marvel with Secret Invasion, will play a certain Gia, a Skrull who infiltrates the planet with her husband and daughters to later invade. A shape shifter eventually changes sides after seeing what his species is capable of.
To recall, Marvel Studios’ Secret Invasion series follows SHIELD agents Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) as they try to find the Skrulls who have taken over our society. They will be assisted by Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), who will resume his role as an alien after Captain Marvel. Also appearing will be War Machine (Don Cheadle), Olivia Colman and Kingsley Ben-Adir, whose roles have yet to be revealed.
Secret Invasion will launch on Disney+ in Spring 2023 and will be the first of the Phase 5 series to be released.
