Petrobras estimates that the Buzios field, the largest in Brazil, should reach a peak production of 1.8 million barrels per day by 2033, Friday, the executive director of engineering, technology and innovation of the company, Renata Baruzzi.
The oil company began competition on Friday for the hiring of the ship of the FPSO P-91 platform, which will be the twelfth unit to be installed in the Buzios camp, in the altitude of the Santos basin.
The executive said, in an interview with journalists, that there is still no scheduled date for the start of the ship’s operation, but could be in 2031.
