MPs displayed posters with the word “genocidal”
Two Arab deputies interrupted US President Donald Trump’s speech in the Israeli parliament and were removed from the plenary this Monday (13).
Ayman Odeh and Ofer Cassif, of the left-wing coalition Democratic Front for Peace and Equality (Hadash), held up signs with the word “genocidal” as the American leader spoke and were forcibly removed from the Knesset.
The other deputies applauded the expulsion of the two colleagues, while Trump resumed his speech, stating that the action of the security forces was “very efficient”. The interruption lasted about a minute. .
