There was a kind of funk genre, I don’t remember the name, it was three letters [nota do editor: MPB]. I also worked with a percussionist from São Paulo: Nea Santos. She also introduced me to some artists. Not long ago, she showed me Clementina de Jesus. I love Brazilian music and I have many friends from Brazil. I’m not an expert, but I’m a fan.”
