The 2000 performance in South Carolina, United States, marked the last time that Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley and Peter Kiss performed together on stage

The farewell tour of Kiss 2000 was getting softer when the drummer Peter Criss received news that absolutely shocked the world: the guitarist Ace Frehley was being paid US$50,000 per show – more than US$10,000 more than Criss. “It was the most disappointing thing in my professional life,” he wrote in his autobiography.
