The Institute celebrates a historic milestone with actions aimed at technological inclusion and strengthening communities

THE Nexxera Institute celebrates 17 years of activity in 2025, marking the moment with the launch of a new phase of its main project, Conexxão de Impacto, now called TEC impact connectionand with the announcement of a collaboration with the Invisible Cities Instituteorganization that operates in peripheral communities in various regions of the country.




In line with the purpose of the Nexxees Group – its investor and partner in promoting transformation initiatives – the Institute enters a phase of targeted innovation, focusing on digital inclusion and the training of young people and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability for the technology market.

Since 2008, when it began its activities with Escola de Fábrica, through the Aprendir a Fazer project and, more recently, with Conexxão de Impacto, the Nexxera Institute has maintained its commitment to generating social transformation through human development, protagonism and access to knowledge. The new phase strengthens its role in training talent and generating opportunities in one of the most relevant sectors of the Florianópolis economy: technology.

Born in the capital of Santa Catarina and the main company of the Group, Nexxeraspecialist in technological solutions for financial and commercial management, shares this vision of the future. The company has sustainability and innovation as strategic pillars, constantly seeking to promote technological advancements that also generate a positive impact on society. This vision is in the DNA of the Nexxees Group and inspires the activities of the Institute, which for 17 years has applied the values ​​of inclusion, education and social responsibility in its actions.

“Along this trajectory, we have impacted hundreds of lives, preparing people for the job market in various sectors, supporting entrepreneurship and driving the creation of new businesses. There have been many hands involved and inspiring partnerships that have made this possible,” says Carla Inácio, director of the Nexxera Institute.

In its 13th edition, Conexxão de Impacto TEC aims to prepare adolescents and young people not only for the job market, but also for civic and critical action in the digital world, contributing to the construction of a more inclusive and equitable society.

Among the actions that mark this new cycle are:

  • Collaboration with Institute of Invisible Citieswhich recently opened its new space in the center of Florianópolis. The Nexxera Institute will support the Integra Perifa 2.0 project, reaffirming its commitment to education and democratization of knowledge in the communities of the central capital region of Santa Catarina;
  • Development of an initial technological path in collaboration with the volunteers of the Nexxees Group, combining digital skills and socio-emotional skills. The training course will initially be applied at Casa São José, in the Serrinha community, in Florianópolis, a long-standing partner institution of the Nexxera Institute.
  • The action at Casa São José will begin in the second half of October and will feature workshops co-created by volunteers from the Technology and People areas of the Nexxees Group, together with the institution’s educators. The computer laboratory, recently renovated by the Conexxão Jovem project, will be the starting point of this new learning path.

    “Our goal is to train young people for a more connected and aware future. We want them to master technological tools, but also understand the power of social transformation that these tools bring,” adds Carla Inácio.

    With this new phase, the Nexxera Institute reaffirms its commitment to generating opportunities that promote real transformations in the lives of the most vulnerable people and communities in the territories in which it operates, strengthening the network of partners and promoting innovation with purpose.

    Founded in 2012, the Invisible Cities Institute works to transform realities in cities across the country, impacting thousands of young people in vulnerable situations. Through cultural, educational and social assistance projects, it promotes access to knowledge, new technologies and citizenship. In 2025 it opened its new headquarters in the center of Florianópolis, with the Integra Perifa 2.0 project, a space dedicated to workshops, reception and training for children, adolescents and families of Greater Florianópolis.
