The film ‘Hope on the Stage’ hits cinemas around the world on November 12th and 15th

J-Hope gave fans a sneak peek at his upcoming solo film, Hope on the Stage the Movielast Wednesday, 22, with a clip of him singing “Killin’ It Girl” live on stage in South Korea.

The short video shows the singer shirtless, wearing a shiny jacket and jeans, as he dances to the track (which features a verse from Memphis rapper, GloRilla) surrounded by backup dancers. Produced by Cirkut, Inverness and Blake Slatkinthe song was released in June, following their collaboration “LV Bag” with Don Toliver, Speedy and Pharrell Williams; “Sweet Dreams” with Miguel; and “Mona Lisa“.The new song was released after J-Hope complete his mandatory military service in South Korea in October 2024.

His soon-to-be-released film chronicles the two-night finale of his tour Hope on the Stage at Goyang Stadium and will hit cinemas around the world on November 12th and 15th. The film will also include behind-the-scenes footage, tracks from his solo albums J-Hopespecial presentations alongside his colleagues from BTS, Jin and Jungkookand much more.

Earlier this summer, the BTS confirmed plans to officially return in 2026. In March 2022, the group announced an extended hiatus, which gave time to V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin and J-Hope complete their mandatory military service in South Korea and pursue solo careers as musicians.

After dismissal, J-Hope told Rolling Stone that the time he spent away from the band was “invaluable”. He said: “The thoughts I had during those times have become an inseparable part of me, nurturing and shaping who I am today. Ultimately, they have influenced the stories I tell, the music I aspire to create.”
