This iconic character from the iconic series will definitely be changing its cast following the decision of its original interpreter, Eric Peer Sullivan, not to take on the role, which is now played by Caleb Ellsworth-Clark.

This is the only cast change, all the cast members of the show have agreed to appear in these new episodes. This obviously applies to Frankie Muniz, the title character’s translator, or even Bryan Cranston, who plays his father Hal (let’s not forget that Malcolm’s character’s last name is unknown; will it be revealed in the new season?).
