Biscuit pudding

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups milk (tea)
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 15 cornstarch biscuits, crushed
  • 5 eggs

Syrup:

  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (tea) water

Preparation method:

  1. For the syrup, heat the sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat, without stirring, until a golden syrup forms.
  2. Pour into a 22cm diameter mold with a hole in the center and set aside.
  3. Blend the milk, sugar, biscuits and eggs in a blender until smooth.
  4. Pour into the caramelized mold and cook in a medium preheated oven in a bain-marie for 50 minutes or until solidified.
  5. Remove from the oven, let cool and place in the refrigerator for 3 hours. Unmold and serve.
