The new minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, Guilherme Boulos, leads the ranking of digital engagement among the ministers of the government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). The investigation by the consultancy firm AM4 Brasil Análise Digital, obtained exclusively by Political broadcastGrupo Estado’s real-time news system shows that the new appointment records 42% more interactions than the Minister of Institutional Relations, Gleisi Hoffmann, in second place.
Boulos’ performance is driven by an average of 15.8 daily publications, the highest among the ministers analyzed. The study assessed the performance of all government heads of cabinet on major digital platforms: Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn and TikTok.
Completing the top 5 commitments are ministers Alexandre Padilha (Health), Fernando Haddad (Finance) and Paulo Teixeira (Agrarian Development and Family Farming). In seventh place is Vice President and Minister of Development, Industry, Trade and Services, Geraldo Alckmin.
In comparison with his predecessor, Márcio Macêdo, Boulos also stands out: while the current minister occupies the first position, Macêdo only appears in 20th place.
According to Rebeca Ribeiro, partner and content director of AM4 Brasil, the survey shows greater dynamism among the profiles focused on political and institutional articulation, while the technical and sectoral areas maintain a more moderate frequency of involvement. The number of posts also affects the result.
“The ministers most active in publications in the period analyzed were Guilherme Boulos, Gleisi Hoffmann, Paulo Teixeira, Margareth Menezes and Silvio Costa Filho. Boulos leads with 1427 posts, about 17% more than Gleisi, in second place,” he says.
