Sofia, Lara, Yoonchae, Megan and Daniela — the entire group, minus Manon — appear in the new episode of Role Roulettefrom the Rolling Stoneto draw up plans on how they would react in crucial situations, such as winning the lottery or being stranded on a desert island.
“I trust you with all my secrets,” he says Lara to the group, when asked who she would share the lottery prize with without telling the other members. She makes a compelling argument about what she would do with the money if she had it on hand. “I always wanted to buy a house in chennaiwhere my family is from, in India, and set up a studio,” she says. “We could all go together and make our music in our little studio. Or I really want to buy my dad a house because he did everything for me.”
Danielaon the other hand, is aiming for a holiday home in Italy or the Caribbean, but would also take the chance to buy his mother a Ferrari. For now, however, she is content with the mini purchases she makes on trips to Japan and Korea — in addition to online discoveries. Her recent wardrobe investments made her the obvious choice when the members were asked who they would like to style with for a month. “I feel like her looks have been really flawless lately,” Megan said.
Each member of the Katseye has a distinct sense of style, which also extends to musical and romantic preferences — except for one thing: they are all against blind dates. “I need to stalk the person before going out with them,” he said. Lara. Megan You’ve been there before — and it hasn’t always worked out.
“I was stalking — well, not exactly stalking, but I was reading this person’s Instagram comments because it was trending,” he recalled. Megan. “I tried to click on the comments section, but I ended up reposting the post, and it was like… not that long ago, but a while ago. And I thought, ‘Oh my God, he’s going to think I’m crazy.’ And it was a new feature, it was the only repost I made.”
Sofia would probably be the best member to hear this kind of confession. Somehow, she’d managed to make it seem completely normal to like someone’s post from three years ago. “You posted it, huh,” she said. “You can’t expect people not to see it.”
