This month’s must-see: Monster: The Ed Gein Story

Following Dahmer and the Menendez brothers, Ryan Murphy’s anthology of America’s most terrifying serial killers returns for Season 3. The series this time tells the story of Ed Gein, the serial killer who inspired the films Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Silence of the Lambs.

As in previous seasons, the series alternates between very graphic reconstructions of Gane’s macabre murders and delving into the character’s past and the elements that form the basis of his gruesome journey. Charlie Hunnam, chosen to portray the character, gives a very convincing performance.

It’s finally back: The Witcher Season 4

The Witcher series is changing for the fourth season. Now it is Liam Hemsworth who lends his qualities to the wizard Geralt of Rivia, who replaced Henry Cavill in a short time. This direct sequel to the first three seasons sees the hero and his two allies – Yennefer and Ciri – each embark on new adventures across the four corners of the continent.

There are elements that have made the fantasy series successful so far: impressive battles and great new monsters, but also newcomers to the series, such as the vampire Reggie, played by Laurence Fishburne. The fifth and final season is already expected in 2026.
