THE 49th International Film Festival in São Paulo announced the extra sessions of 53 titles that will be shown in the recap. The program starts this Friday, October 31st, and continues until next Wednesday, November 5th, at CineSesc and Cine Satyros Bijou — Cultura Artística hosts screenings on two days, October 31st and November 1st.

The selection includes feature films that have won awards at international festivals such as My Father’s Shadowfrom Akinola Davies Jr.which received an honorable mention from the Caméra d’Or jury at the Cannes Film Festival, DJ Ahmetfrom Georgi M. Unkovskiwinner of the Audience Award and Grand Jury Prize in the World Cinema Dramatic section of the Sundance Film Festival, and The President’s Cakefrom Mamlaket Al-Qasabwinner of the Caméra d’Or award for best film by a first-time director at the Cannes Film Festival and the audience award at the Filmmakers’ Fortnight, also at Cannes.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the cinema box office on the day of each film screening. Credentials remain valid for the repechage, with ticket exchanges directly through the Exhibition app. Check it out below:
