In total, 821 kg of marijuana were found hidden among cereals in two trucks.
Friday evening (31st), the Federal Traffic Police (PRF) seized 821 kilos of marijuana and arrested two men during an approach to BR-386In New Santa Ritain the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre.
The action took place within the a crime fighting operationafter the police received information on risk analysis which indicated the possible transportation of drugs. Two trailers registered at Estância Velha they were intercepted and subjected to inspection.
During the inspection the officers found the narcotic hidden among the load of corn transported by vehicles.
The drivers, of 28 and 41 years oldBoth natives of Novo Hamburgothey were arrested. One of them had already done it personal injury report. According to the PRF, the vehicles came from Mato Grosso do Sula state often used as a route for drugs to enter the country.
The two suspects were arrested for drug trafficking AND transmitted to the Canoas Judicial Policetogether with the trucks and the seized cargo.
