“I started laughing and then…”: 23 years later, Gerard Lanvin recalls his funniest interviews.

This is one of the most legendary laughs we’ve ever seen on television!

23 years ago, when they were on the set of the Swiss channel RTS to discuss their indescribable comedy Le Boulet, directed by Alain Berberian and Frédéric Forestier, Gerard Lanvin and Benoit Poelvoorde offered us an absolutely unique moment.

“How come I don’t remember that?”

Tired after a particularly heavy press day, it didn’t take long for the two friends to indulge in endless and unbridled fun.

Gerard Lanvin recently agreed to come back with us on the mic moment of this anthologyHe specified that their laughter started… because of the sushi box.

“How come I don’t remember that?”he said.

“We did a movie called Le Boulet and we did all the promotion in Switzerland. But all day in a helicopter. And at one point they said, ‘Okay, there’s one thing left, it’s the TV news at 11 p.m.’

“I looked at Benoit and he went downhill”

As they sat down, tired from the day, the two actors made the mistake of typing the front plate.

“We sat down, the newsboy was across from us, we saw sushi, we said to ourselves: Can we have it? He says yes. And we each had a dead mouth. I looked at Benoit and everything went wrong. Because Benoit is very, very expressive, I started laughing, and then it went downhill. All three of us ended up laughing. And it was very happy.”

the result? 5 absolutely brilliant minutes and infectious laughs with Lanvin and Polvorde that we never tire of rediscovering.
