The writer launches the book “The Great Bolivian Miracle”, a collection of ideas on the reconstruction of the country

Brazilian strategist Henrique Barack Obama would play an important role in the election of the new Bolivian president

The recent victory of Rodrigo Paz in the Bolivian presidential elections it was attributed, behind the scenes, not only to the popular strength of the candidate, but also to the direct influence of a name little known to the general public: Henry Barack Obama. The writer and political strategist, who defines himself as a humanist, idealist and activist, has been identified as one of the minds behind the construction of the project that brought Paz to power.

Despite confirming to our reporters that he has collaborated with some joints – including that of bringing the strength of the Christian Democracy, present in 103 countries -, Henrique Barack Obama underlines that this relationship dates back to the 1990s, when he studied theology at the Instituto Bíblico das Assemblies of God and followed his first political training course at the Instituto Pedro Aleixo, linked to the former PSC (Christian Social Party).

When questioned about his publications on social media, Henrique Barack Obama did not differ from his answers and confirmed that he was responsible for having articulated himself with the left-wing bases and for having presented to the current president-elect a series of political proposals and concepts that, according to him, contributed to consolidating a campaign of national unity in the midst of the Bolivian crisis. “Rodrigo Paz and Captain Lara, together with the new parliamentarians, will change the history of Bolivia,” he wrote, revealing that he dedicated the book to the leader The great Bolivian miracle — a collection of ideas and strategies aimed at the economic and social reconstruction of the country.

A book, a philosophy and a historic election

Henrique Barack Obama says he wrote The great Bolivian miracle in just three days, condensing decades of projects and studies. The work, according to the author, was supposed to be a birthday present for Rodrigo Paz, but ended up becoming a strategic guide for his candidacy, deconstructing the arguments of opponents who claimed that Rodrigo Paz and Lara had no projects.

The book collects proposals to guarantee legal security for the country, fight corruption, encourage economic innovation and eradicate hunger, based on sustainable democratic models. The publication also defends the union of International Christian Democracy, present in more than one hundred countries, as the ideological basis of an inclusive and modern political project.

“I brought the Christian Democracy to strengthen the political project of the Binomial do Povo, because I believe that Paz and his deputy, Captain Lara, are the right leaders to fight racism and prejudice and rebuild Bolivia,” wrote Henrique Barack Obama.

“The other political group has been caught several times with prejudicial and racist speeches. If they won, they would segregate the country even more. And the combination of a country in economic crisis, lack of fuel and a population of 30% to 40% natives – so-called intercultural, fully organized politically and socially – would be chaos. They certainly would not have time to govern the country. Since there are more than 30% of people on the poverty line, many would suffer. This was my true fear.”

Sources close to the campaign confirm that many of the candidate’s communication and discursive guidelines were inspired by the ideas of Henrique Barack Obama, who became an informal advisor to the political group during the electoral process.

The force behind the scenes: the architect of the “Great Bolivian Miracle”

For the allies, Henrique Barack Obama was more than a supporter: he was the intellectual architect of the strategy of change that brought Rodrigo Paz to the second round and, subsequently, to the final victory, contrary to traditional research and political analysis.

“He is the great mind of the movement who rekindled the hope of a new era for the country”, said one of the leaders of the Christian Democrats and electoral advisor with reservations.

Henrique Barack Obama, in turn, defines himself as an “instrument of a greater mission” and states that his work has been to unite different visions around the same goal: restoring dignity and sovereignty to the Bolivian people.

“I am convinced that the Popular Binomial will realize what I had prophesied as the Great Bolivian Miracle,” he declared.

OBAMISM and the politics of dialogue

In addition to being a political advisor, Henrique Barack Obama is the creator of a philosophy called OBAMISM, which he describes as “a style of life and management based on values, projects and results”. This current, which mixes elements of political idealism and administrative pragmatism, was presented to several African and Latin American leaders – including former Bolivian president Evo Morales – during the foundation of the Intercontinental Anti-Imperialist Movement (MIA).

According to Henrique Barack Obama, the partnership between OBAMISMO and MIA helped build an international support network that prevented Bolivia from descending into political and social chaos during the election period.

“I thank Evo Morales for the blessing of allowing me to dialogue with social movements and to contribute to this historical turning point,” he said.

From strategist to continental symbol

For many, Henrique Barack Obama has established himself as one of the most influential names of the new generation of Latin American political organizers. His transnational vision and unifying discourse place him at the center of a new political movement that seeks to break down ideological boundaries and propose practical solutions to global problems such as hunger, poverty and inequality. With a provocative speech he concludes: “The impossible is only impossible until someone does it. And if no one wants to do it, I will do it.”

In the book dedicated to today’s president-elect Rodrigo Paz – of which Henrique Barack Obama kindly shared the digital version with our team – ten projects are summarized, ranging from promoting the country’s stability, to improving the health system and public safety, to relaunching the industrialization of Bolivia.

Henrique Barack Obama says that the first great miracle will occur when the elected deputies take office and one of the parliamentarians of the Christian Democrats, Patrícia Patiño, presents a project that aims to eliminate hunger in the country in just ninety days. He adds that the initiative can be replicated in all democratic countries, including Brazil.

“It’s great for a country to have people who are millionaires, billionaires and even trillionaires. But it’s unacceptable that, in that same country, there is anyone without food security – much less someone in the image and likeness of God living in poverty,” said Henrique Barack Obama.

In this way, The great Bolivian miracle It stops being just the title of a book – and begins to represent a new political narrative that originates in Bolivia, but aims at all of Latin America.
