This Monday (3), Toho, the Japanese entertainment giant, released the teaser for Godzilla Minus Zero (or Godzilla -0.0), a direct continuation of Godzilla Minus One, a production that was very successful and left fans wanting to know more.
The teaser itself doesn’t bring many revelations. The audiovisual content focuses on the reveal of the new title, bringing a serious rumble of destruction, which indicates that Godzilla is returning and, most likely, the places he passes through will experience another large-scale catastrophe. Additionally, Takashi Yamazaki is revealed to return to write and direct the story.

No new details regarding the production have been revealed. However, according to the Collider portal, a recent announcement about the selection of extras may have overlooked that Ryunosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe will return to play the roles of Koichi and Noriko, the main human characters of the work.
Godzilla minus one
The first film received widespread praise for its compelling narrative and incredible visual effects. The story takes place in a Japan completely destroyed, both socially and economically, after the Second World War. As if that wasn’t enough, the population still has to fight a new threat: the powerful Godzilla, a gigantic and mysterious creature that emerges from the sea. Meanwhile, Kōichi Shikishima, a former kamikaze pilot, tries to find redemption while leading the civil resistance against the monster.
The main cast consists of Kōichi Shikishima (Ryunosuke Kamiki), Noriko Ōishi (Minami Hamabe), Shirō Mizushima (Yuki Yamada), Sōsaku Tachibana (Munetaka Aoki), Kenji Noda (Hidetaka Yoshioka), Sumiko Ōta (Sakura Andō) and Yōji Akitsu (Kuranosuke Sasaki).
