If you’ve been a Blake Shelton fan from the start, you will surely remember the mullet. This was before he became a normal accessory inside The voice for more than 20 seasons and long before the queen of ska and the fashion icon Gwen Stefani made him an honest man. . The mullet was a hallmark in the early years, when Shelton was introduced to fans across the country with songs like “Ol ‘Red” and “Austin”, and that’s what he must have thought he was worth to play again. The cowboy went old school on the cover of his new single “No Body”, and while fans agreed with the throwback, Shelton was absolutely pissed off by country star Craig Morgan over his new look.
It wasn’t even just the hair Blake Shelton wore for “No Body”. He wore a huge cowboy hat and patterned jacket as he stood with a smug expression on his face as he tightened his belt buckle (which I must say he wasn’t as big as Kelly Clarkson’s belt buckle ). It’s such a turn-of-the-century country that it’s hard to blame country singer Craig Morgan for his reaction.
Morgan watched her friend’s transformation during an interview with country flavorand the “Redneck Yacht Club” singer had the hilarious reaction, directly demolishing Blake Shelton’s nod to the ’90s. Watch the video:
To be honest, Craig Morgan’s reaction was like a stream of consciousness reflecting my thoughts when I first saw the art. I thought it was an old photo of Blake Shelton. The hairstyle, the pose, the look! I feel like I have to put on pure country or another great country music movie now.
When the “That’s What I Love About Sunday” singer shot his friend, he was quick to call the insults a compliment, saying he thought Shelton was “one of the best singers in our format,” after making himself laugh. saying he shouldn’t be so sure when he’s like this.
And while there is something about Blake Shelton’s appearance that is objectively ridiculous, fans have eaten it on social media! Part of it was the mullet, sure, but there’s a kind of witchcraft when that style is combined with the ’90s country vibe of “No Body” and the line dancing music video. Twitter Fans Can’t Get Enough:
I can’t get enough of this song ☀️ it’s amazing and I love the video ❤️ You may or may not keep the mullet @blakeshelton 😂 This outfit is killing me 🔥🔥🤠😍😍 https://t.co/3TwN3Mxcd119 August 2022
The comment sections on all of Blake Shelton’s social media posts were filled with love for the new single and the resurrection of her famous hairstyle, with a Twitter the user who says the country star shows us how it is done:
This is how you carry a mullet. Only Blake Shelton can !!! Great great new song that dates back to the early 90’s. 👏👏👏
In case you missed Blake Shelton’s life-size photo of the mullet in all its dubious glory, she shared it on her Instagram account and it attracted a lot of attention from users. To take a look at:

While I wish the mullet were here to stay, I have a feeling Blake Shelton will be wearing a more contemporary hairstyle when he returns to the coaching panel for season 22 of The voice. Already dragging the new coach Camila Cabello! Anyway, I’ll tune in when the NBC singing competition returns on Monday, September 19th.
