Echos is the new series everyone is talking about. In this psychological thriller, Michelle Monaghan (Mission: Impossible) stars as twin girls with troubled pasts who find themselves embroiled in a story of disappearance and murder.

Unfortunately for us, Echoes was sold as a 7-episode mini-series and should not have a 2nd season. But, never say never, especially since this isn’t the first time (Big Little Lies and The White Lotus had sequels, for example).
Especially since one of its creators, Brian York, is used to the fact. We especially owe him the brilliant 13 Reasons Why, which surpassed the book from which it was adapted into a sequel.

Netflix has by no means made a statement to that effect, but if the success of Echos proves to be a success, the American giant should be seriously questioned.
