Jordan Alsace has finally come out of his silence to explain the reasons for his hasty departure from Superman & Lois after just two seasons in Jonathan Kent’s shoes.
“As you can imagine, the last few weeks have been difficult because of what’s been going on with the show.“, the young comedian explained in a video for fans on Cameo. “It’s sad, it’s a real tragedy.”
“I know I was fired for the third season, sure, but what are we going to do about it? Mental health is a 100% priority. This is the most important thing. The last two years have been… difficult.”
“I need time for myself“, he continued. “I’m still wondering if I’ll continue doing comedy. Maybe I will follow another direction. I know this will definitely disappoint some people.“
This is the first time Jordan Alsace has spoken since Warner Bros. The station announced the departure of the Superman and Lois actor on August 16. The studio also indicated that Jonathan Kent would be recast, a character central to the series.
